On Tuesday, October 29, 2019, the United States Department of Transportation (DOT) will host the Access and Mobility for All Summit from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm (EDT) at U.S. DOT Headquarters. Click here for directions.

The United States Department of Transportation (DOT) will host the Access and Mobility for All Summit to raise awareness of DOT and government-wide efforts to improve access and mobility for people with disabilities, older adults, and individuals of low income and identify priority Federal and non-Federal activities and innovations that can provide more efficient, affordable, and accessible vehicles and mobility services such as transit and ridesharing.

The Access and Mobility for All Summit will offer an opportunity to learn about and provide input on Federal and non-Federal actions to support expanded access to mobility through new vehicle technologies and emerging service models, with a focus on surface transportation. The Summit will include keynote remarks from Secretary of Transportation Elaine L. Chao, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Benjamin S. Carson, Sr., M.D., and Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers (WA-5); discussions with leaders across academia, industry, and government; and, a showcase of innovations enabling expanded access to mobility for people with disabilities.

All who wish to attend please register by Wednesday October 23, 2019. In-person attendance will be limited based on venue capacity, so advance registration is required. In-person participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis up to the maximum capacity of the event.
